About King of Paint

Established in 2010, King of Paint was born of the very pulse of Bristol.

The shop and showcase is located in the city centre by Stokes Croft, Bristol's heart of Street Art. Coincidentally, the building was for many years the home of "Replay Records", Bristol's shop for underground music.

David Walker

Now it is the home for underground art.

It's been an inspiration to witness the evolution of this modern expression of art, and a joy to see Bristol's leading influence as the scene develops, seemingly daily.

Historically, during times of uncertainty and corporate control, we as a species have always seemed to find ways of expressing ourselves, be it through music, poetry, art, family or friendship. We often find we are more than how society defines us.

King of Paint was born of this expression.

We believe in respectful and responsible expressions of creativity and aim to cooperate with the Bristol community at large for mutual benefit, to help make an already great city even more beautiful. Because of this, we do not condone any kind of vandalism and embrace responsible creativity.

King of Paint provides the finest street art supplies and showcases some of the best, most captivating pieces of art in the business. Come check us out.
